Which ad platforms can you actually connect to ChatGPT?
Most pages answering this question quietly imply they cover everything. This one does not. Opus Growth is a hosted MCP connector: one URL in ChatGPT and your assistant gets real, write-capable access to four ad networks plus Google's measurement stack. Four networks — not eleven, not "any platform with an API." Below is exactly what is live, what is finished but waiting on someone else's approval, and the full list of platforms we do not touch. Whichever side your platform falls on, your search should end on this page.
Live today: Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Not available yet: Meta Ads (27 tools, in platform review) and Google Business Profile (7 tools, awaiting Google quota approval). Not supported at all: Google Ad Manager, X (Twitter) Ads, Snapchat, Spotify, LINE, Yahoo Japan, Amazon Ads, Pinterest, Reddit, AdRoll, Merchant Center — and any network not named on the live list.

Live today: four ad networks, 142 tools
Google Ads (69 tools), Microsoft Advertising (30), TikTok Ads (25) and LinkedIn Ads (18) run through a single connection. "Live" here means write access, not a read-only data feed: ChatGPT can create campaigns, shift budgets, add negatives, refresh ad copy and pause the losers. Every write comes back as a dry-run preview you approve first, single budget increases above 50 percent are blocked outright, and each applied change lands in an audit log.
Google's measurement stack rides along on the same sign-in
Beyond the ad networks, the same Google authorization exposes Google Tag Manager (18 tools), GA4 (10), Search Console (6) and YouTube (5) — 221 tools in the catalogue once you count everything. That is what turns "which channel is actually working" into one question: paid spend, organic queries and analytics conversions lined up in a single thread instead of four exports in a spreadsheet.
Not available yet: Meta Ads and Google Business Profile
Twenty-seven Meta Ads tools — campaigns, ad sets, carousel and video ads, lookalike audiences, insights — are written and sitting in platform review. Seven Google Business Profile tools are waiting on a Google quota approval. Neither is usable today and neither is on the live list above, no matter which plan you are on. We will not name a date, because neither decision is ours. Both switch on inside your existing plan, at no extra cost, the day approval lands.
Google Ad Manager is a different product, and we do not support it
This is the single most common mix-up in this search. Google Ad Manager is a publisher ad server: you use it to sell and serve inventory on your own sites and apps, managing line items, ad units and yield. Google Ads is the buy side — the advertiser account you spend budget from. We support Google Ads deeply and have no Ad Manager coverage of any kind. If line items are what you manage, this connector is the wrong tool and the Ad Manager interface remains the right one.
The full no list, published on purpose
We do not connect X (Twitter) Ads, Snapchat Ads, Spotify Ads, LINE Ads, Yahoo Japan Search Ads, Amazon Ads, Pinterest Ads, Reddit Ads, AdRoll or Google Merchant Center — and we do not pipe your data into warehouses or ETL destinations such as PostgreSQL or BigQuery either. Not to ChatGPT, not to Claude Code, not to anything. Any network absent from the live list, Yandex Direct included, is also a no. There is no private beta, no hidden flag, no workaround. Naming these costs us a few sign-ups from people searching those exact terms and saves those people a wasted trial. That trade is deliberate.
What still works when your platform is not on the list
An assistant without a connector is not useless, it just cannot touch the account. Export a report from Snapchat or Amazon Ads, paste it into the chat, and let ChatGPT do the analysis, the creative angles and the naming conventions — then execute the changes yourself in that platform's own dashboard. The connector takes over on the four networks where it can genuinely act; everywhere else you stay in manual control. Knowing which is which is the whole point of this page.
Set it up in 60 seconds
- 1
Turn on developer mode in ChatGPT and add the URL
ChatGPT does not expose custom MCP servers by default, and this only works in the web app on a paid plan — not on mobile. Open Settings, go to Connectors, scroll to the bottom and enable developer mode, then add https://mcp.opus-growth.com as a custom MCP server. Nothing is installed on your machine and there is no server for you to run: the connector is hosted, and setup takes about a minute.
- 2
Or add the same URL from your terminal or editor
The platform list never changes with the client, only the setup line does. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http opus-growth https://mcp.opus-growth.com. Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf take the same JSON — { "mcpServers": { "opus-growth": { "url": "https://mcp.opus-growth.com" } } } — in ~/.cursor/mcp.json, .vscode/mcp.json or ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json. Codex uses an mcp_servers.opus-growth section with a url line in ~/.codex/config.toml, Gemini CLI uses gemini mcp add -t http, and n8n takes the address in an MCP Client node.
- 3
Authorize only the networks you actually run
Sign in with Google to cover Google Ads plus the Google data sources, then authorize Microsoft Advertising, TikTok and LinkedIn separately if you use them. Each has its own consent screen and its own account picker, so an advertiser who only runs Google hands over nothing else. One limit worth knowing up front: the free trial and Pro work on one ad account at a time, and only the Agency plan lets an assistant work across multiple client accounts.
- 4
Ask the assistant what it can reach before you trust it
Make your first message an inventory request: have it list every ad account it can currently see, grouped by platform. If something you expected is missing, it is either not authorized yet or not supported — and you learn that in ten seconds rather than halfway through a campaign build.
Ask in plain English
›List every ad account you can currently reach, grouped by platform, and flag any that have had no spend in the last 14 days.
›Compare cost per conversion last month across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok Ads and LinkedIn Ads, then tell me which channel I should defund first and why.
›I also run Snapchat and Reddit campaigns you cannot access. Build me a weekly manual checklist for those two dashboards that mirrors the audit you run on my Google Ads account.
›Explain the difference between Google Ads and Google Ad Manager, then confirm which of the two you can actually edit for me.
›Move 400 dollars of next week's budget out of my weakest LinkedIn campaign and into my best-performing Microsoft Advertising campaign — show me the before and after values before applying anything.
›I sell on Amazon and through Google Shopping. You cannot reach Amazon Ads or Merchant Center, so pull what you can from my Google Ads Shopping campaigns and be explicit about what is missing from the picture.
Frequently asked questions
Four, today: Google Ads (69 tools), Microsoft Advertising (30), TikTok Ads (25) and LinkedIn Ads (18) — 142 ad tools on one connection. The same sign-in also covers Google Tag Manager (18), GA4 (10), Search Console (6) and YouTube (5) for measurement. All of it is write-capable where the platform allows writes, with a dry-run preview before anything is applied. Meta Ads and Google Business Profile are built but not switched on yet, and every other platform is a no.
Not through us. We have no X Ads integration — it is not in a beta, not behind a flag, and not something support can enable on your account. X does publish an ads API, so a connector is technically buildable, but we have not built one and will not pretend otherwise. In practice: run X campaigns in X Ads Manager, and use ChatGPT unconnected for the planning, the copy and the post-mortem around them.
No, and this question usually hides two different products. Google Ad Manager is a publisher ad server for selling and serving inventory on your own properties — line items, ad units, yield management. Google Ads is the advertiser side, where you buy traffic. We support Google Ads with 69 tools and have zero Ad Manager coverage. If your search was really about the account you spend budget from, you are covered. If you genuinely manage inventory in Ad Manager, no connector of ours will help and its own interface stays the place to do that work.
None of them are supported, and neither are Amazon Ads, Pinterest Ads or Reddit Ads. Each would need its own API integration, review and approval, and we only ship a platform once it works end to end with real write actions. Until then those campaigns stay in their native dashboards — Snapchat Ads Manager, Spotify Ad Studio, LINE Ads Manager, Yahoo Japan's console — and ChatGPT can still help you plan and analyse them from pasted exports. A shorter answer than you hoped for, but the accurate one.
Not with this connector. Claude Code adds the exact same hosted server as ChatGPT does — claude mcp add --transport http opus-growth https://mcp.opus-growth.com — and receives the exact same tool list. The client you choose changes nothing about which platforms exist. Merchant Center specifically has no tools here; the closest we get is reading Shopping campaign performance on the Google Ads side, which surfaces some feed-driven problems but is not feed management. Product data stays in the Merchant Center interface.
The Meta integration is finished — 27 tools spanning campaigns, ad sets, carousel and video ads, custom and lookalike audiences, interest search, reach estimates and insights — and is waiting on platform review. Business Profile's 7 tools are waiting on Google quota approval. We are not going to promise a date for either, because neither decision is ours, and until then they stay off the live list on this page. Both appear automatically in your account when approval clears, included in the plan you already pay for.
It can only call tools the connector actually exposes, so there is no path to an unsupported account. A well-behaved model will simply tell you it has no tool for that. Models do occasionally narrate an action they never performed, which is precisely why our writes return a dry-run preview and land in an audit log — so "did that actually happen?" always has an answer. If a change matters, confirm it in the platform itself.
One plan covers every live platform; there is no per-network add-on and no separate Microsoft or TikTok fee. The trial is 7 days and 50 actions with no card, and actions are weighted by what they cost us: building a search campaign is 8, adding keywords 5, an account audit or keyword research 3, a performance report 2, while connecting an account or checking your balance is free. So 50 actions is roughly six full campaign builds or about sixteen account audits — real work across two or three networks, not fifty of anything. After that Pro is $49.99/month for one ad account and Agency is $99.99/month for multiple client accounts, both in USD.
Adding a custom MCP server in ChatGPT requires developer mode, which lives at the bottom of the Connectors settings, needs a paid plan and works only in the web app. If you would rather skip that, Claude supports custom connectors natively on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise: Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, then paste the URL. Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Codex, Gemini CLI and n8n all accept the same address, and every one of them sees the identical platform list.

If your platform is on the live list, connecting takes about a minute. If it is on the no list, you found that out before spending anything — which is what this page is for.
