A one-page go, extend or stop verdict for a ChatGPT Ads test, benchmarked against the client's Google Search CPA, with tracking checked first.
When to use it
When a ChatGPT Ads test has been running and you need to decide whether to scale it, give it more time or shut it down.
What you get
A one-page summary with the numbers, a clear go, extend or stop verdict compared to your Google Search CPA, and the next step, with any budget change previewed first.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[client][test budget]
We ran a ChatGPT Ads test for [client], and I need a go, extend or stop decision.
1. Pull daily delivery for the test campaigns since launch: impressions, clicks, CTR, spend, conversions and cost per conversion. Break it down by country and device.
2. Check conversion tracking: are the pixel and conversion events attached to these campaigns, and are they receiving events?
3. If impressions are low, run the delivery diagnosis.
4. Pull the client's Google Ads Search CPA for the same dates as the benchmark.
Decision rule:
- Fix first: tracking is not receiving events or delivery blockers are present. Give no verdict until these are fixed, and list the fixes.
- Go: cost per conversion within 30% of the Google Search CPA, with at least 15 conversions. Propose a 25% budget step-up.
- Extend: fewer than 15 conversions, but CTR and cost per click are in line. Propose two more weeks at the current budget.
- Stop: spend above [test budget] with cost per conversion more than 2x the Google Search CPA.
