Data-confidence check before sending the client lead report

Audits Google Ads lead conversion actions for broken tracking, wrong counting, short lookback windows and double counting, then reconciles them with GA4 key events from google / cpc traffic. It returns a reliability table and previews any fix before applying it.

When to use it

When you are about to send a client a lead report and are not sure the conversion numbers are tracked, counted and deduplicated correctly.

What you get

A reliability table rating each lead metric as reliable, check or unreliable with reasons, plus previewed fixes that are only applied after you approve.

Does it change anything in my account?

Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

Works with

Google Ads, GA4

[account name][average lead value]
Before I send the monthly report for [account name], check whether the lead numbers can be trusted. Cover the last 30 days. 1. Run conversion_tracking_health with days=30 and list every lead action that is paused, removed or has recorded zero conversions. 2. Use list_conversion_actions and get_conversion_settings to check every action that is included in the Conversions column. Use included_in_conversions as the primary flag, and use list_conversion_goals to see which categories are biddable. Form and call leads should count one per click, not every. Flag lead actions counted as every, lookback windows under 30 days and default values that do not match [average lead value]. 3. Look for double counting. Check list_conversion_actions for the same form tracked both by a Google tag (webpage) action and by a GA4-imported action, with both included in conversions. Confirm it with the tag setup where possible: - Use get_conversion_tags to get the conversion ID and label of each Google tag action. - If Tag Manager is connected, use list_gtm_tags and list_gtm_triggers to see which Google Ads and GA4 tags fire on the same form trigger. - If Tag Manager is not connected, base the finding on action names, types and categories, and mark it "inferred, not confirmed". 4. Find the GA4 property with ga4_list_properties and the key events with ga4_list_conversions. Run ga4_report with dimension='event' and dimension2='source_medium' for 30 days, and keep only the google / cpc rows for the matching lead events. Compare them with the Google Ads lead conversions and flag any gap larger than 25%. Note that GA4 and Google Ads attribute and date conversions differently, so a small gap is expected. 5. Deliver a table with these columns: metric, source, status (reliable / check / unreliable), reason, and the fix. Do not change any settings. If a fix is needed, run update_conversion_action (primary or secondary) or set_conversion_settings (counting, lookback window, default value) with confirm=false, show me the preview and wait for my approval. Pausing or removing a conversion action cannot be done through the API, so list those as manual steps in the Google Ads interface.
