Diagnose an organic traffic drop: rankings, CTR or demand
A short diagnosis that pins the drop to specific pages, queries and causes, backed by Search Console and GA4 evidence.
When to use it
When organic traffic has dropped and you need to know whether rankings, click-through rate or demand is to blame.
What you get
A one-page diagnosis with the headline cause in numbers, a table of losing pages by cause type and the 3 likeliest explanations ranked with next checks.
Does it change anything in my account?
No. The assistant only reads your data and reports back.

[client name][client property]
Client [client name] reports an organic traffic drop. Use Search Console property [client property]. Compare the last 28 days with the previous 28 days.
1. Break down clicks by page, query, device and country. Show which 10 pages and 10 queries lost the most clicks.
2. For each losing page, split the loss into three causes:
- fewer impressions at a stable position: demand or seasonality
- a position decline: rankings
- a stable position with lower CTR: a SERP change or the snippet
3. Inspect the top 10 losing URLs. Report index status, last crawl date and canonical, and flag anything not indexed or canonicalised elsewhere.
4. Check sitemaps for new errors.
5. In GA4, compare organic sessions by landing page for the same periods. This confirms whether the drop is real on the site and not only in Search Console.
Deliver a one-page diagnosis:
- the headline cause, with numbers
- a table of the losing pages with cause type
- the 3 most likely explanations, ranked, each with its evidence and the next check or fix
