Find searches where the wrong page ranks and give each query one owner page

When to use it
When a blog post or the wrong page ranks for a query that your product or landing page should own, and you want to know which pages are competing.
What you get

[site property][minimum impressions, e.g. 50]
Use Search Console for [site property] with the last 90 days. Pass days=90 and check the period the tool returns, because some date ranges are shortened without warning. Pull the page, query breakdown with a limit high enough to cover the long tail.
Before you judge anything, resolve every ranking URL to its final live address by following redirects, including old language prefixes and old blog paths, and treat language versions of the same page as separate pages. Remove queries that are clearly automated, such as strings containing a domain name with 'count' or search operators.
For each query with at least [minimum impressions, e.g. 50] impressions:
1. Decide the search intent in one word: product, comparison, how-to, definition or brand.
2. Name the page on the site that best matches that intent. This is the owner page. When the URL does not make it obvious, read the title and H1 of the candidates with site_read_url and outline=true.
3. Compare it with the page that actually receives most impressions for the query.
Mark a query as 'wrong owner' when the page that ranks is not the owner page, for example a blog post ranking for a product query while the product page sits lower or does not rank at all.
Deliver a table sorted by impressions with these columns: query, intent, ranking page, its position, owner page, owner's position or 'not ranking', impressions. Then, for the ten largest wrong-owner cases, write the exact fix in plain words: which internal link to add and with which anchor text, which title or H1 to change on which page so the two pages stop competing, and whether a page should drop the head term from its title. Finish with the three changes that would move the most impressions.
