How much traffic and how many leads do AI assistants send me?

A GA4 breakdown of sessions and key events from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude, compared with Google organic, plus the landing pages that matter.

When to use it

When you want to know whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI assistants actually send your site visitors and leads.

What you get

A GA4 table of sessions and key events per AI source against Google organic, plus the top 10 AI landing pages and a note on which deserve content work first.

Does it change anything in my account?

[site URL]
In GA4, using the property for [site URL], measure the traffic that AI assistants send to my site. Use session source and cover the last 90 days compared with the previous 90 days. Treat these sources as AI traffic: chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com, claude.ai, and any other source that clearly belongs to an AI assistant. Deliver three things: 1. A table by source with these columns: sessions, users, engagement rate, key events, key event rate, change vs the previous period. 2. A comparison row for google / organic using the same metrics. 3. The top 10 landing pages for AI traffic combined, with sessions and key events for each. Decision rule: if AI traffic's key event rate is at least equal to Google organic's, list the landing pages that deserve extra content work first. Tell me plainly if AI traffic is under 1% of total sessions. Do not change any GA4 settings.
