LinkedIn conversion tracking audit: is every campaign measured?
Maps every LinkedIn conversion rule to the ad sets it is attached to, checks which rules actually recorded conversions, flags unmeasured spend, dead or duplicate rules and objective mismatches, and previews every attach or detach before applying it.
When to use it
When you are unsure whether your LinkedIn campaigns are tracking conversions correctly, or leads and cost per conversion look wrong.
What you get
A table of every ad set with its attached conversions, spend and issues found, a prioritized fix list, and a preview of each attach or detach for your approval.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

Check whether LinkedIn Ads account [account] measures what management will ask about. Remember that LinkedIn's API "campaigns" are the "ad sets" in Campaign Manager; report at ad set level and show the parent campaign (campaign group) next to each one.
1. List every conversion tracking rule with list_linkedin_conversions: type, enabled status, attribution windows, URL rules and the ad sets each rule is associated with. If the list is marked truncated, say so.
2. Pull the last 30 days from linkedin_campaign_analytics with pivot CAMPAIGN,CONVERSION to see how many conversions each rule recorded per ad set, and with pivot CAMPAIGN for spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion per ad set.
3. Get each ad set's objective and status from list_linkedin_campaigns, and group status from list_linkedin_campaign_groups (a paused group stops its ad sets even if they read ACTIVE).
Flag these issues:
- Active ad sets that spend but have no conversion attached.
- Enabled conversion rules with zero conversions in 30 days.
- Likely duplicate rules that could double count the same action (same type and overlapping URL rules attached to the same ad set). Tell me why you think they overlap.
- Site-wide rules (for example "All Pages") that inflate conversion counts.
- Ad sets whose attached conversion does not match their objective. For example, a lead ad set that only tracks page views.
Deliver a table (campaign, ad set, objective, attached conversions, spend, conversions, cost per conversion, issue) and a short fix list in priority order.
If an ad set needs a conversion attached or detached, prepare it with attach_linkedin_conversion or detach_linkedin_conversion using confirm=false and show me a preview of each one. Before any detach, check whether the ad set uses MAX_CONVERSION bidding and this is its last conversion, because that can stop delivery. Wait for my approval before applying anything.
