Microsoft Ads local deep-dive: locations, devices and out-of-area searches
A Bing performance breakdown by location, device and keyword, plus search terms that leak spend outside your service area.
When to use it
When your Microsoft Ads (Bing) budget is leaking to clicks from outside your service area or to irrelevant searches like DIY, jobs or competitors.
What you get
Location, device and keyword tables plus a themed negative keyword list with match types and the spend each would have saved, previewed and added only after your approval.
Does it change anything in my account?

[account name][service area, e.g. city and districts]
Deep-dive Microsoft Advertising account [account name] for the last 60 days. We only serve [service area, e.g. city and districts].
1. Break down performance by location, by device and by keyword. For each, show impressions, clicks, CTR, spend, conversions and cost per conversion.
2. Pull the search terms report with the matched keyword and match type.
3. Read the current negative keywords at campaign and ad group level so you do not suggest duplicates.
Flag these cases:
- Locations outside our service area that received clicks, with their total spend.
- Search terms containing other city names, DIY or job-seeking intent ("how to", "salary", "course"), or competitor brands, with spend and zero conversions.
- Devices whose cost per conversion is 40%+ above the account average, with at least 30 clicks.
Deliverables:
1. A location table.
2. A device table.
3. A top-20 keyword table sorted by spend.
4. A proposed negative keyword list grouped by theme, each with match type and the spend it would have saved.
Show the negatives as a preview and wait for my approval before adding them.
