[GA4 property]
Prepare the monthly GA4 summary for management for property [GA4 property]. Use the last 30 days and compare them with the previous 30 days.
0. Find the property with ga4_list_properties.
1. Run ga4_list_conversions first. If the property has no key events configured, say so at the top of the report instead of reporting zeros, and skip the key event columns below.
2. KPIs for the current period: run ga4_overview with days=30 for sessions, users, new users, engagement rate and key events.
3. KPIs for the previous period: run get_report with platform ga4, the property as account, and start_date / end_date covering the 30 days before the current window.
- If it does not return a metric, fall back to ga4_overview with days=60 and subtract the 30-day figures. This only works for additive metrics (sessions, new users, key events).
- Users and engagement rate cannot be derived by subtraction. If you cannot get them for the previous window, show the current value and mark the change "not comparable" rather than estimating it.
- Show each metric's absolute and % change.
4. Break sessions and key events down by channel with ga4_report (dimension channel), once with days=30 and once with days=60 so you can derive the previous 30 days by subtraction. For each channel, show:
- its share of sessions
- its share of key events
- its key event rate (key events / sessions)
Note that key events here are the sum of all key events in the property.
5. Flag every metric that moved more than 15% in either direction. Name the most likely driver from the channel breakdown and label it as a hypothesis.
6. List the events currently marked as key events, with their counting method, so readers know what "conversion" means in this report.
Deliverable:
- one KPI table
- one channel table
- at most 5 bullet points written for a non-technical director, with no jargon
Builds a one-page, jargon-free monthly report for a client with exact calendar-month figures versus the previous month, explains every big KPI move from campaign data and creates the white-label link only after you approve the draft.
