Tag Manager container audit for lead conversion tags

A findings table covering live version, unpublished changes, mismatched conversion IDs and missing lead triggers in GTM.

When to use it

When you suspect your Tag Manager container is sending wrong or missing lead conversions to Google Ads and want it checked before changing anything.

What you get

A findings table (item, issue, risk, fix) plus the fixes prepared in a new GTM workspace, not published until you approve, with a rollback version noted.

Does it change anything in my account?

Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

Works with

Tag Manager, Google Ads

[GTM-XXXX]
Audit the Google Tag Manager container [GTM-XXXX] that handles lead tracking on my website. 1. Show the live version number and its publish date. Also show anything pending in the workspaces that was never published. 2. List all tags with their type, firing triggers and paused status. Highlight Google Ads conversion tags, GA4 event tags and Meta pixel tags. 3. For each Google Ads conversion tag, compare its Conversion ID and label with the send_to values of the conversion actions in my Google Ads account. Flag mismatches and any tags pointing to removed actions. 4. Check the triggers for lead events: form submit, thank-you page view, tel: link clicks and WhatsApp clicks. Flag lead events that have no tag, and any conversion tag that fires on All Pages. Deliver a findings table with four columns: item, issue, risk, fix. For the fixes, prepare the edits in a new workspace and show me exactly what will change. Do not publish until I approve. Also tell me which version I can roll back to if the publish causes problems.
