TikTok creative fatigue check: pause, refresh or iterate
A per-ad fatigue verdict based on weekly CTR and CPA decay, plus a brief for the next video concepts, with pauses held for approval.
When to use it
When your TikTok ads seem to be losing steam, with CTR dropping and CPA creeping up, and you need to know which ones to pause, refresh or keep.
What you get
A per-ad fatigue table with a pause, iterate or healthy verdict, a creative brief for three new video concepts, and pause actions ready for your approval.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[TikTok ad account][minimum spend]
Check creative fatigue in [TikTok ad account] for the last 21 days, broken down by ad and by week.
Include every active ad with at least [minimum spend] in spend over the period. For each ad, show weekly spend, impressions, CTR, conversion rate, CPA, and the change from week 1 to week 3.
Classify each ad:
- Fatigued: CTR is down more than 30% from its best week and CPA is up more than 25%. Recommend pausing it.
- Declining: only one of those two thresholds is hit. Keep it running and recommend testing a new hook in the first 2 seconds.
- Healthy: neither threshold is hit. If its CPA is at least 20% below the ad group average, flag it as a candidate for new variations.
Then count, per ad group, how many healthy ads would remain after the proposed pauses. If fewer than two would remain, say the ad group needs new creative before anything is paused there.
Deliver:
1. The table.
2. A short creative brief for the next three video concepts, based on what the healthy ads have in common (hook, format, length, offer).
Prepare the pause actions as a preview and wait for my approval.
