What people search before finding our Business Profile: query report
The top Search and Maps queries for a location, split into branded and discovery demand and grouped into themes, with gaps against the listed services.
When to use it
When you want to know which searches bring people to your Google Business Profile and whether you only attract people who already know your brand.
What you get
A theme table of search demand (impressions, example queries, covered by a category or service or not), the branded vs discovery split and a 3-line management summary.
Does it change anything in my account?
No. The assistant only reads your data and reports back.

[location name][brand name]
For our Business Profile location [location name], report which searches led people to the listing over the last 3 months.
1. Pull the search terms people used on Google Search and Maps. List the top 25 by impressions.
2. Split the terms into:
- **Branded:** contains [brand name] or a common misspelling of it.
- **Discovery:** everything else.
Show the share of impressions each group takes. A discovery share below 50% means the profile is mostly found by people who already know us.
3. Group the discovery terms into 4 to 6 themes, such as service type, "near me" intent or product. Give the total impressions for each theme.
4. Read the location details: categories and the services list. For each theme, state whether a matching category or service exists.
5. List themes with real demand but no matching service as **recommendations**. Do not add or edit anything on the profile. I will decide and ask separately.
Output: one table with these columns: theme, impressions, example queries, covered yes or no. Then a 3-line summary for management.
