When do calls actually come in? Google Ads hour, day and device report
A day-by-hour table of cost and calls compared with your current ad schedule, plus a previewed schedule proposal.
When to use it
When you suspect your Google Ads budget is spent at hours or on devices that do not bring calls, or that calls arrive when nobody can answer them.
What you get
A day-by-hour table of cost, calls and forms plus a proposed ad schedule with bid modifiers, shown as a preview and applied only after your approval.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[campaign name][opening hours]
For Google Ads campaign [campaign name], analyse the last 60 days by day of week and hour of day. Our business hours are [opening hours].
1. Read the campaign's current ad schedule and bid modifiers.
2. Segment cost, clicks and conversions by day of week and hour, split into phone call conversions and form conversions. Then add a separate device split (mobile, desktop, tablet).
3. Present a table of 7 days x 3-hour blocks showing cost, calls, forms and cost per conversion.
Flag the following:
- Blocks that take more than 5% of total spend with zero conversions.
- Blocks outside business hours that generate calls nobody can answer.
- Blocks where cost per conversion is under 70% of the campaign average. These are candidates for a positive bid modifier.
Then propose a new schedule with bid modifiers, never going below -50% unless a block has zero conversions over 60 days. Show it as a preview of the exact set_ad_schedule change and wait for my approval before applying anything.
