Set up a TikTok campaign for [product or collection] in ad account [TikTok account], optimised for purchases.
1. Pixel check: list the pixels and confirm that one has activity status ACTIVE and has a purchase event (CompletePayment, or the purchase event as TikTok lists it) configured as an optimisation event. TikTok's API does not expose event fire counts, so if the setup passes, remind me to confirm recent purchase events in Events Manager. If there is no active pixel or no purchase event, stop and tell me exactly what is missing.
2. Identity: use my existing identity from the identities list. If there is none, stop and tell me.
3. Campaign: website conversions objective, daily budget of [daily budget]. Note that TikTok stops accepting new campaigns with this objective on 1 January 2027. If the campaign comes back enabled after creation, disable it right away.
4. Ad group:
- Location: [country], using the location ID found for the website conversions objective.
- Ages 18 to 44 (18-24, 25-34, 35-44).
- Interests: search and suggest 3 to 5 relevant interest categories with their IDs. If the daily budget is under 50 times my target cost per purchase of [target cost per purchase], recommend broad targeting with no interests instead, and explain why.
- Optimisation goal: conversion, with the pixel above and the purchase event as the optimisation event.
5. Ads:
- From my video library, pick the 3 newest videos that are 9 to 30 seconds long, based on the duration returned for each video.
- For each video, write ad text of up to 100 characters with no price claims I have not given you.
- Call to action: Shop now. Landing page: [landing page URL] with UTM parameters utm_source=tiktok, utm_medium=paid, utm_campaign=[campaign name].
- Use the identity from step 2.
Show a full preview covering campaign settings, ad group targeting, budget, optimisation event and each ad (video, text, CTA, URL). Create everything only after I approve. The ad group is created disabled; if any ad comes back enabled, disable it. Keep the campaign, ad group and ads off until I confirm launch.
