Build a standard Meta retargeting and lookalike audience set
Checks existing audiences and pixel health, then proposes and builds a deduplicated set of website, converter, engagement, lead form and lookalike audiences with a consistent naming scheme.
When to use it
When you are setting up a Meta ad account and need a clean, consistent set of retargeting, exclusion and lookalike audiences.
What you get
A table of proposed audiences with source, rule, window and purpose, then the approved audiences created with consistent names and checked for size.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[client ad account][Purchase or Lead][high-intent path, e.g. /pricing][country]
Build our standard audience set for Meta ad account [client ad account].
First, list the existing custom and lookalike audiences and the pixels with their last fired time. Flag any audience that already covers the same rule and window so we do not create duplicates. Also flag any pixel that has not fired in the last 24 hours. If the main pixel is stale, stop and tell me. Then find the Facebook Page, the Instagram account and the instant forms on that Page, so you have the source IDs for the engagement audiences.
Then propose these audiences:
- Converters in the last 180 days, from the pixel's [Purchase or Lead] event (the preferred lookalike seed)
- Website visitors in the last 30 days and in the last 180 days
- Visitors of [high-intent path, e.g. /pricing] in the last 30 days. The website audience tool builds audiences from a pixel event, not a URL rule, so: if a standard event such as ViewContent or InitiateCheckout fires only on that page, use it and say so; otherwise give me the exact URL-contains settings to create this one in Ads Manager.
- Instagram profile engagers and Facebook Page engagers in the last 90 days
- People who opened a lead form but did not submit it, in the last 90 days, from each relevant form, if the lead form source offers that event. If it does not, tell me which lead form events are available.
- Lookalikes in [country] at 1% and at 3%, seeded from the strongest source: converters, or the 180-day visitors if the converter audience is too small. Note that the 3% lookalike includes the 1% band; if I want a pure 1-3% band, exclude the 1% lookalike in the ad set.
Name each audience CLIENT_TYPE_SOURCE_WINDOW. Deliver a table with these columns: name, source, rule or event, window, purpose (retarget, exclude, or seed).
Do not create anything until I approve the table. Show each creation as a dry run (confirm=false) first. Create the seed audiences before the lookalikes. After creation, list the audiences again. Flag any that the listing shows as below 1,000 people or still populating.
