Check the landing page before sending ChatGPT Ads traffic to it
Audits every destination page in a ChatGPT Ads campaign for status, call and form presence, ad message match, speed and tracking, compares GA4 results with your best page, and proposes URL changes for approval.
When to use it
When you are about to send or scale ChatGPT Ads traffic and want to know whether your landing pages will actually turn visitors into calls and leads.
What you get
A keep, fix or replace verdict for each destination URL with prioritised fixes and a previewed URL change that is applied only after you approve.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.
Works with
ChatGPT Ads, SEO Intelligence, GA4

[campaign name or cmpn_ id][alternative URL][utm_source value]
Before I scale my ChatGPT Ads campaign [campaign name or cmpn_ id], check that its destination pages turn visitors into calls and quote requests.
1. List every ad in the campaign with chatgpt_ads_insights (scope_id = the campaign, level = ad, include_zero=true), then read each ad's title, body and destination URL with chatgpt_ads_details.
2. For each unique URL:
- load the live page with site_read_url and confirm it returns a 200 status
- read the page outline and text, and check that a tel: phone link and a quote form exist and appear early in the page, before the first long content section. If the page is hosted on my Opus Growth server, also take a mobile screenshot with site_preview so we can see what is actually above the fold. If it is not, tell me this check is based on page order, not on a rendered view.
- check that the city and the service named in the ad also appear in the page title, H1 or opening text
- run core_web_vitals on mobile and seo_audit on mobile, and report which measurement tags (GA4, Google Ads, others) the audit finds loaded on the page
3. Pull GA4 data for the last 30 days with ga4_report, dimension = landing_page and dimension2 = source_medium: sessions and key events. Calculate the key event rate (key events per session) for each page and compare it with my best-converting service page [alternative URL]. If ChatGPT Ads traffic can be identified in the source/medium (for example chatgpt.com or my UTM tag [utm_source value]), report that slice separately. If it cannot, say so and compare the pages on all traffic.
Give a verdict per URL: keep, fix, or replace. Use this rule:
- Replace if mobile LCP is above 4 seconds, if there is no call link, or if the key event rate is less than half that of the alternative page.
List the fixes in priority order. If a replacement is warranted, prepare the destination change with update_chatgpt_ads_ad using confirm=false and show me the current and proposed values. Remind me that changing the destination sends the ad back to OpenAI review and it stops serving until the review passes. Do not apply any change until I approve.
