Client portfolio triage: scale, hold or fix each Google Ads account

Compares the last 30 days with the previous 30 across all connected Google Ads client accounts, checks tracking health and impression share lost to budget, and labels each account Scale, Hold, Fix or Data first. Read-only.

When to use it

When you run a portfolio of Google Ads client accounts and need to decide each month where to push budget, where to hold and where to fix problems.

What you get

One table of all accounts labelled Scale, Hold, Fix or Data first with CPA, ROAS, change and a one-line reason, plus the three accounts most likely to repay extra budget.

Does it change anything in my account?

No. The assistant only reads your data and reports back.

[target CPA][target ROAS][account: target list]
Run a monthly triage across all my connected Google Ads client accounts. Compare the last 30 days with the previous 30 days. Targets: [target CPA] and [target ROAS]. If some accounts have their own targets, use these instead: [account: target list]. 1. List the connected accounts. Run the portfolio report for 30 days and for 60 days. Get the previous 30 days for each account by subtracting the 30-day figures from the 60-day figures, then calculate CPA, ROAS and % change yourself. Name any account the report skipped as inaccessible. 2. Run conversion tracking health (30 days) for every account, because the Data first label depends on it. 3. Run campaign-level impression share for every account that passes the result test for Scale or Hold. Report IS lost to budget as a spend-weighted average across its Search campaigns. Mark accounts with no Search campaigns "n/a". Classify every account with this rule: - Data first: any primary (included in Conversions) action that is paused, removed or has recorded zero data. This label applies regardless of results. - Scale: CPA at or below target, or ROAS at or above target. Conversions must be stable or rising, tracking healthy, and impression share lost to budget above 15%. - Hold: on target but IS lost to budget at or below 15%, or fewer than 30 conversions in the period (too little data to push). - Fix: CPA more than 25% above target, ROAS more than 25% below target, or conversions down more than 20%. If an account records no conversion value, judge it on CPA only and say so. Deliver one table sorted by spend with these columns: account, spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS, % change, IS lost to budget, label, one-line reason. Below the table, name the three accounts where extra budget is most likely to pay back, and say why. This is read-only. Do not change anything.
