[account to business unit mapping]
Management wants to know whether our channel mix makes sense for each business unit. Use the last 30 days.
1. List every connected account on Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising. Map each account to a business unit using this list: [account to business unit mapping]. List any account you cannot map instead of guessing.
2. Pull spend, conversions and CPA per account, using the platform-reported conversions.
3. For each business unit, build a table with one row per channel. Show spend, conversions, CPA, share of the unit's spend and share of the unit's conversions.
Decision rules:
- If a channel's share of spend exceeds its share of conversions by more than 10 points, mark it as a candidate to cut.
- If the reverse is true by more than 10 points, mark it as a candidate to scale.
- If a channel has fewer than 30 conversions in the period, mark it "insufficient data" instead.
Add a short caveat that each platform counts conversions with its own attribution, so the shares are directional. Also flag any channel whose conversions look implausible, for example zero conversions alongside meaningful spend.
Deliverable: the tables plus 3 to 5 reallocation recommendations with suggested amounts. Recommendations only. Do not change any budget.
