Launch a Meta lead campaign with a qualifying instant form
Builds a paused Meta Leads campaign for a local service: a qualifying instant form, city or radius targeting, two ads made from your own Page post photos, preview links and a delivery check before anything goes live.
When to use it
When a local service business wants to start getting leads from Meta and needs a lead campaign with a qualifying form built from scratch.
What you get
A paused Meta Leads campaign with an instant form, a city or radius ad set and two ads from your Page photos, with preview links and a delivery estimate, all created only after you approve.
Does it change anything in my account?
Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[service, e.g. boiler repair][city][daily budget][option 1][option 2][option 3][privacy policy URL][form language][latitude, longitude][radius][years in business][rating and review count]
Set up a Meta lead generation campaign for [service, e.g. boiler repair] in [city], with a daily budget of [daily budget].
1. Account and Page: find my ad account with list_meta_ad_accounts. Then list my Pages, passing that account_id, and use a Page that is actually assigned to the ad account. List that Page's existing instant forms and the questions each one asks.
2. Form: if no existing form fits, draft a new instant form with these questions:
- FULL_NAME and PHONE (standard, pre-filled fields)
- "Which district are you in?" as a free-text custom question (Meta has no standard district field)
- "Which service do you need?|[option 1]|[option 2]|[option 3]"
- "How soon do you need it?|Today|This week|Just researching"
Use [privacy policy URL], form language [form language], a short intro headline and a thank-you text.
3. Campaign: OUTCOME_LEADS objective, status PAUSED, with no campaign-level budget so the budget sits on the ad set. Leave special ad categories empty unless my service falls under housing, employment, credit or finance. If it does, tell me.
4. Ad set:
- Location: find the Meta location key for [city] with search_meta_interests (kind adgeolocation), and check the country code. If I give you my business coordinates [latitude, longitude], use custom_locations with a [radius] km radius around them instead of the whole city.
- Audience and placements: ages 25-65. Set no placement fields, so placements stay automatic.
- Delivery: optimization_goal LEAD_GENERATION, billing_event IMPRESSIONS, my page_id, daily_budget [daily budget], status PAUSED.
5. Ads:
- Images: pull my recent Page posts with list_meta_page_posts and pick two with strong photos. Upload each with upload_meta_image using its object_story_id (not a copied image link, which can expire) to get an image_hash.
- Copy: draft two link ads attached to the form through lead_gen_form_id. Make one price/offer-led and one trust-led. For the trust ad, use only facts I confirm: [years in business], [rating and review count].
- Settings: primary text under 125 characters, a short headline, cta_type GET_QUOTE, link [website URL], status PAUSED.
Approval: show me the form questions, campaign, ad set targeting, the two chosen images and both ad copies as dry runs (confirm=false). Do not create anything until I approve. Once I approve, create the form, campaign, ad set and ads in that order, all PAUSED.
After creation:
6. Give me preview links with preview_meta_ad for each ad's creative_id, in MOBILE_FEED_STANDARD and INSTAGRAM_STORY.
7. Run meta_delivery_estimate on the paused ad set. This only works once the ad set exists. If expected leads are under 1 per day, propose either a wider radius (or the whole city) or a higher budget. Show the change as an update_meta_adset preview and wait for my OK. Keep everything paused. I will activate it myself.
