Account audits

LinkedIn Ads spend justification audit for an e-commerce brand

Checks LinkedIn conversion tracking, ROAS and cost per conversion per ad set over 60 days and gives a keep, fix or pause verdict for each one.

When to use it

When you need to prove whether LinkedIn Ads deserves budget in an e-commerce account, or you doubt your LinkedIn tracking.

What you get

You get a tracking check and one table with a keep, fix or pause verdict per ad set, plus a recommendation on LinkedIn's place in the mix; any fix is previewed first.

Does it change anything in my account?

Only with your approval. The assistant first shows a preview of every change and waits for your go-ahead.

[account name][target ROAS][spend threshold]
We are an e-commerce brand, and LinkedIn has to earn its budget. Audit LinkedIn ad account [account name] for the last 60 days. Use the current Campaign Manager names: "campaigns" are the top level and "ad sets" sit inside them. Report at ad set level and show the campaign each one belongs to. Step 1, tracking: list every conversion rule with its type, whether it is enabled, its attribution windows, whether it carries a value, and which ad sets it is attached to. Flag running ad sets with no purchase or checkout conversion attached. Using a conversion-level breakdown of the last 60 days, flag conversion rules that recorded zero conversions. If the conversion list comes back truncated, say so. Step 2, performance: for every ad set with spend, show campaign, objective, spend, impressions, CTR, average CPC, CPM, conversions, conversion value if LinkedIn returns it, ROAS and cost per conversion, plus the number of active ads. Where no conversion value is tracked, write "no value tracked" instead of a ROAS. Step 3, verdict per ad set, using my target ROAS of [target ROAS]: - Keep: ROAS at or above target - Fix: tracking is missing, no conversion value is tracked, or ROAS is within 30% of target - Pause candidate: spend above [spend threshold] with ROAS more than 30% below target, or zero conversions Deliverable: one table with the verdict column, total LinkedIn spend and ROAS (based on ad sets with tracked value only, and say how much spend that covers), and one paragraph on whether LinkedIn should stay in the mix. If an ad set needs a conversion attached, show it as a preview and wait for my approval. Do not detach any conversion and do not pause anything.
