[Google Ads account][target ROAS][target CPA]
Account: [Google Ads account]. Period: last 60 days. Target ROAS: [target ROAS]. Target CPA, used only if the account records no conversion value: [target CPA]. Google suggests new keywords and a switch to broad match. Judge these recommendations using our own data, not Google's projections: 1. List the recommendations and keep the keyword, broad match upgrade and "use broad match" types. 2. For each suggested keyword, find matching search terms in the search terms report and give cost and conversions. Pull conversion value for those terms with a query on search_term_view for the same 60 days, then calculate ROAS. If the account has no conversion value, judge on cost per conversion against my target CPA and say so. 3. Run keyword opportunities. Converting search terms that are not yet keywords are stronger candidates than Google's list. 4. Run smart negative keywords to see the account-wide leak to non-converting terms. For the per-campaign figure, sum the cost of zero-conversion search terms per campaign and divide by that campaign's total cost from a campaign-level performance report. Output: - Table A, keyword recommendations: keyword, search term evidence, ROAS (or cost per conversion), verdict. - Table B, broad match recommendations: campaign, current wasted spend from non-converting terms as an amount and as a % of campaign cost, verdict. Dismiss broad match wherever that waste is above 10% of campaign cost. - A list of keywords from our own converting terms (ROAS above my target) to add as exact or phrase match instead, each with the ad group it should go into, based on the ad group where the term already converts. Preview every apply, dismiss and add action. Make no changes until I approve.
