When you ask an AI assistant how your Google Ads account is doing, a good answer depends on three things: what exactly is in the account, when each item was created and last changed, and which period the numbers describe. If one of them is missing, the assistant guesses instead of measuring. It calls a campaign "new and still learning" when it has been running for three months, or reports that "searches dropped" when the dip happens in the same month every year.

Opus Growth now closes that gap with three additions: creation and last change dates for campaigns, ad groups and ads on every platform, a query tool that reads any data in your Google Ads account, and month by month search volume history from Keyword Planner.

See when everything was created and when it last changed

When your assistant lists your campaigns, every row now carries dates. In Google Ads it reads the creation time and last change for campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords, plus the start and end of each campaign. On Meta it reads when campaigns, ad sets and ads were created and updated and when they run. On TikTok it reads creation and change times for campaigns, ad groups and ads together with the ad group schedule. On LinkedIn it reads creation, last change and run dates, and on Microsoft Advertising the start and end dates of ad groups.

These dates come from each platform's own records; nothing is estimated. The Google Ads API returns the exact creation time for the last 30 days and its change log for the last 90 days. For older items the assistant knows this and says the item has not changed for more than 90 days. Microsoft Advertising's API does not expose a creation date at all, so the ad group run dates are used there.

In practice this means the effect of yesterday's bid change is not judged without a period comparison. The assistant first checks when the change happened, then compares the days before and after it.

A query that reads any data in Google Ads

Ready made reports answer most questions, not every question. When you want to know at which hours users in a specific city convert, how one landing page performs on mobile versus desktop, or what a bid strategy was set to, you need GAQL, the query language of the Google Ads API.

With the new query tool your assistant can run any GAQL query against your connected Google Ads account. Every resource, metric and segment the Google Ads API offers can be read this way. The tool only reads: the query language cannot change anything in your account. Tools that make changes still show a preview first and do nothing until you approve.

Month by month search volume for your keywords

Keyword Planner already gave keyword ideas and average monthly searches. Now it also returns the history of the keywords you already use: searches for each month, competition, the top of page bid range and the average cost per click.

A real example: in Turkey, "ehliyet kursu" (driving school) is searched about 8,100 times a month on average. From September to December it rises to 9,900 a month and in January and February it falls to 6,600. An assistant looking at a driving school account whose clicks fell in January could say "your ads got weaker" without this history. With it, the assistant explains that the drop comes from the searches themselves and plans the budget accordingly.

What this adds up to

  • Measured statements: "new campaign" or "untouched for months" is based on dates.
  • Correct comparisons: the effect of a change is measured before and after the change date.
  • Seasonality versus problems: falling clicks are read together with search history.
  • Depth: a question no ready report answers is answered from the account's own data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the query tool change my account?

No. GAQL is a read only query language and the tool only accepts queries that start with SELECT. Tools that change the account are separate, show a preview first and wait for your approval.

Why is the creation date empty on some rows?

The Google Ads API returns the exact creation time for the last 30 days and its change log for the last 90 days. Older rows say so. For campaigns the start of serving is always available.

How far back does the search volume history go?

The last 12 months by default. You can choose the start and end month yourself; Google provides monthly data for up to the past four years.

Which assistants support this?

Every assistant you connect to Opus Growth: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other apps that support MCP. Nothing to install; it works on your connected accounts right away.
