[account name][spend threshold][target ROAS]
Audit search term waste in Microsoft Ads account [account name] for the last 60 days, across all Search campaigns. Use microsoft_search_terms_report (days 60) for terms, matched keywords, match types, clicks, spend and conversions. The standard report may not include revenue. If it does not, pull microsoft_report_query with report_type SearchQueryPerformance, the same date range, and columns including CampaignName, AdGroupName, SearchQuery, Keyword, DeliveredMatchType, Clicks, Spend, Conversions and Revenue. If revenue is still unavailable, apply only the zero-conversion rule below and tell me ROAS could not be calculated. Flag a search term as waste if: - spend is above [spend threshold] with zero conversions, or - it has at least 20 clicks and ROAS below 50% of my target ROAS of [target ROAS]. For each flagged term, show: campaign, ad group, search term, matched keyword and match type, clicks, spend, conversions, revenue and ROAS. Sort by spend. Then build a negative keyword plan: - group terms by shared root (competitor brands, "free", "used", "repair", job searches, wrong product types) - suggest exact or phrase match and campaign or ad group level for each - check the existing negatives first with list_microsoft_negative_keywords on each campaign and its ad groups, and skip anything already blocked - check list_microsoft_keywords for every ad group (from list_microsoft_ad_groups), and never suggest a negative that would block one of my active keywords or a term that has converted Also list search terms with 2+ conversions and ROAS above target that are not yet keywords. Estimate monthly savings as half of the flagged 60-day spend for each negative. Label it as an estimate, since some of that traffic may shift to other terms. Show the negative keyword changes as a preview with add_microsoft_negative_keywords (confirm=false), and wait for my approval before adding any of them.
